A splendid and wholly original ode to friendship, this lighthearted design has quickly become a customer favourite. Several pieces of art in the tradition of Victorian collage — were reworked, including a remarkably detailed engraving of clasped hands and sun rays from 1626, a painted heart from a seventeenth-century colour chart, and flowers, leaves & hummingbirds from an 1800’s lithograph.

The banners on the front reads, in both English and French, “La vie n’est rien sans l’amitié — Life is nothing without friendship”. This print is also available in a scarf.

The trim combines more hand-coloured 1800’s florals collaged together. The resulting print is joyful and fresh.

Caring for your pieces

Caring for your pieces. The luxuriously soft, natural bamboo & wood viscose blends are easy to love and easy to care for - whether you’re at home or travelling. Hand-wash (or machine wash on delicate cycle only) by swishing your piece around in cool water with a mild detergent for a minute or two before rinsing. Lightly squeeze out the excess water, then roll up in a towel to remove additional moisture. Gently shake out and reshape your piece in all directions and hang to dry. Finish with an iron if needed. Should any shrinkage occur, gently reshape while damp, and then carefully iron after drying to restore the size and finish of your piece. Voila! Like new — again and again.
