Caring For Your Jewellery

We want you to get the best out of your Letterbox Love Jewellery, which is why we have some jewellery care instructions to help. 

As you may know, all plated jewellery will inevitably tarnish over time, but we want you to get longevity out of your beautiful new jewellery, so here are a few tips to help you care for our products.

• As easy as it is to do, try not to fall asleep in your bracelets as they don’t respond well to being pulled or put under pressure.
  
• Take them off before bathing or showering, as the last thing you need is for any bracelets to get stuck in your hair during a rinse and repeat. Some of our bracelets could lose their colour if exposed to chemicals and water, too, so it’s best to avoid this.
  
  Avoid wearing your bracelets during sports and avoid chemicals; things like sun cream, hair dye, tan etc. This may sound obvious, but to be on the safe side, this is your handy reminder.
  
• Lastly, keeping your bracelets clasped when you’re not wearing them will keep them from knotting.
  

By following these simple steps, you can ensure you get the best out of your beautiful jewellery and cherish them for years to come.

Please note many of our products are costume jewellery and may contain nickel. Jewellery is not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts, children to be supervised when wearing.
